Trowbridge is the only place outside London where the winners of this year’s Derwent Art Prize are being exhibited – at the Town Hall until November 22.
The prize celebrates the best art produced using pencils, sponsored by Derwent and it attracted entries worldwide.
Each year, Gifts of Art presents an exhibition of the artwork made by University of Michigan Health System faculty, staff, students, volunteers and their family members. It is our pleasure to display the artistic accomplishments and showcase the exceptional talent and creativity of our extensive (~26,000) UMHS community.
The Derwent Art Prize 2014 celebrates pencil art and its current exhibition at the Mall Galleries is very successful at demonstrating the range of artwork and approaches to making art that can be seen in contemporary pencil art today.
