“Hey! This is I Draw Dead People and I’m your fearless (?) leader, Megan Foldenauer. I’m a 20-year veteran of the field of medical art with a doctorate in anatomy. I love everything at the intersection of science and art. 

Do you find yourself transfixed when you come across a vintage etching of a skull online? Yeah, me too. Charts, infographics, street art, fine art, books, tattoos, models, animation, illustrations of all kinds… and don’t get me started on museums - I can’t get enough!

I started this podcast to share my experience as a medical artist and anatomist from the front lines. I’m so ready to have you pull up a chair at my drawing table as I teach you some things in solo episodes BUT ALSO as we learn about a lot of things TOGETHER through riveting interviews with folks who live and breathe this stuff too! I’m SO honored to call these humans my colleagues.

Ultimately, my hope is to really build a community of people who can share and learn together.

I hope you leave each episode feeling like a part of the coolest, weirdest (in the best way) community on earth – us sciart lovers – and with a maybe more than a smidge of renewed wonder about this bananas world.
